Some people have asked how to best to physically make the House of Horror cards.

There's a few ways to turn these .pdf files into an actual game. The easiest is to buy some cardstock at an office supply store and load it into your spiffy, color inkjet printer. The .pdf files are at a decent resolution (that's why they're pretty big files), so they'll look fairly crisp and colorful. For added protection, you can buy some laminating sheets at an office supply store and then cut them out, or you can just buy Deck Protectors sold for CCGs and slide them into the sleeves.

But that doesn't work for some people. I've had some luck printing out the cards and spray- mounting them on cardstock, then cutting them out. Be sure to use good spray mount; sometimes, ordinary spray glue doesn't stick very well and you'll have peeling cards.

The last best thing to do is to print the cards out and then photocopy them on to cardstock. Most photocopiers let you manually feed in the cardstock without a problem... this is how we made all our prototypes at Avalon Hill. The cards are UGLY when you're done (turn up the brightness on the copier), but it's serviceable.
